nexsol Bioheat is a new industry term for any blend of pure biodiesel with conventional high or low sulfur home heating oil. nexsol meets or exceeds the ASTM D 6751 specification required of bio products in order to be blended with ASTM D 396 heating oil specification. That makes nexsol a perfect choice for alternative heating resources during the Winter season.
Oil tank compatibility
Your current oil tank and system (including gaskets, seals, hoses and O-rings) are completely compatible with Bioheat with a biodiesel blend of 20% or less. For blends higher than 20%, certain requirements must be met. Please visit National Biodiesel Board website for more detailed information.
